Casa Magnolia nestles on a quiet cobbled street in the achingly pretty Andalucian town of Galaroza in the Huelva region of Andalucia in Southern Spain……..fly to Seville………..only just over an hour away and you are in not only a different time frame, but you will feel that you have stepped back in time to a period where food is local and  the pace is slow…..This is a sleepy town where siesta’s are a must but, once the summer heat has cooled a little, join the locals for a coffee in the town’s main square.  You will find two good restaurants here (this is the capital of Iberian ham) – both are great for tapas and seafood.  This is the heart of the Sierra de Aracena and is surrounded by forests with oak and chestnut trees. Perfect for walking/hiking/mushroom hunting and mountain biking!

The Iberian Peninsula is a land of incredible contrast - from sandy beaches lapped by cool Atlantic waters to verdant forests and mountain ranges.Your nearest main town is Aracena (only 15 minutes away) – the town is dominated by a majestic Church and is famous for its spectacular limestone caves – Gruta de las Maravillas which are underneath the castle hill.  If you love gastronomy, then this is the place for you with its prized hams, wild mushrooms, organic products and home made cakes from the famous confectioner Rufino!

For a day trip, Seville is only just over an hour away………..
